The following is a prototype of presenting Pokemon data as a web app. The project has borrowed heavily from other projects which will be credited accordingly before project completion.
The project was originally just a plan to move away from using Excel worksheets to share Pokemon inventory with my girlfriend, but quickly grew into a bigger project inspired by other projects I found with a few internet searches.
Pokelist.org stood out as a very nice visual representation of Pokemon data. It lacked a few features I desired, but excelled at others and is still a basic source of motivation for further development of this project. It's use of JSON data for the Pokemon details led me to search out other projects compiling JSON manifests for source data.
A number of projects in GitHub provided various sources of JSON data for this project, but in the end I didn't find everything I wanted from a single source so the JSON data in this project compiles and manipulates data from several different sources.
While most of the data in this project is not my original data, I assume full responsibility for any data errors that may be contained herein. Efforts have been made to not violate any individual or organization copyrights, but all the Pokemon data used is copyright by various companies - notably The Pokémon Company International ("Pokémon").
